ALL I WANT FOR BIRTHDAY

It's only a week away from my birthday!

There's always something fascinating about birthdays. It's not really something I'm looking forward to. But birthday is supposed to be fun, right? Especially when you get to spend it with friends, families and loved ones. And not to mention the birthday gifts. Hah!

Talking about gifts, I actually have few things I really need and want right now. Since there's lot of priorities at the moment, I'm not sure if I can get it on my birthday this year. But maybe I will buy it for myself some time soon. Oh, I really crave these cute stuffs. Well, actually what I really need is number 1 and 3. But to have it all? A dream comes true that is. I'm crossing my fingers!

For The Love of Shoes

So I did the pre wedding photo shoot last week. Grabbed clothes that already in my closet and didn't buy anything new. We haven't got any specific theme for the photo shoot, though I gave some pictures that I loved and inspired me to the photographer so he could imagine how to rock the final result of the photo shoot. Already got the master CD of the photos that have not been edited yet. My narcissistic sense immediately urged me to post the photos here.

These are the shoes I bought online a few months ago that cost me a fortune just because I have to deal with the tax. Guess this is my most memorable shoes just because the tax officer forced me to paid 82,5% from the price of the shoes. It is just so ridiculous. Even these shoes aren't so comfortable to walk in, I still love owning it. Well at least I get to have these beauties hanging in my closet.

Do I Need Help, Or What?

So, here's the thing. Using hijab gives you 100 times more challenges in mix and match what you already have in your closet. I'm planning to do a photo shoot for my prewedding pictures. Already hired the photographer, find some concepts, and booked a good friend, Adit as the stylist. But I haven't got any ideas what outfit to wear. I planned to do the photo shoot with 2 photographers, and one of it is my sweetest friend, Veve. The challenge is, though Adit is the fashion stylist for Djakarta Magazine, he have got no experiences in styling a girl in hijab before. As for me, I never styled the hijab by myself. Never have the nerve to do any kind of experiments with my hijab because I don't think it'll fits me well. But for this prewedding photo shoot, I am longing for a different look than just my regular style. A bride-to-be aura kind of look. So in order to fulfill my desire, I really need to find much more references on how will I use my hijab for the photo shoot.

I'm thinking of adding cute headpieces and veils on my hijab. Something like these pictures below. What do you think? Flashy or trashy?
